The toy box brings you the power to control the events in your life. You will have peace, calm and confidence through knowledge. You will be able to anticipate and appropriately respond to life’s challenges. That is power. And there is power in the toy box.

Why toy box?

Toys are play things. But what it illustrates here is real … very real.

A few weeks ago, events conspired to keep me at home on a Monday morning. Ordinarily I would be at work. But then, I found myself home alone, wandering through the bowels of an empty house. I ended up in my daughter’s play space. It looked like it had been bombed. Without thought, I proceeded to tidy up. My eyes fell on an inscription on her toy box “… with endless possibilities”.

“Endless possibilities” in a box sounded like power to me. Inside were blocks of different colors, sizes and shapes. They were the basics, the fundamentals in a child’s play life.  With those essentials, the child could create and build anything. She would be limited only by her efforts and imagination.

My website offers you the building blocks of life; the fundamentals with which you can create what you want.  You will appreciate the essence of life, the true core … the inner workings from which everything else manifests. You will realize that of all the noise and confusion, there are only two things in life. Armed with this knowledge, you will be able to separate facts from fiction, what is important from what is not. You will disentangle your reality, see order and coherence, understand the way life is organized; hidden connections will come into view and with that, meaning and confidence. You will be less anxious, confused and not so easily duped with endless books and seminars. You will no longer just follow the masses. You will be more deliberate, aware of the inevitable consequences of every action you initiate. Calmly, you will pick your way through life, at peace in the knowledge that, nothing happens without your consent.

Toy box radio concentrates on the building blocks in the affairs of children. Limited by the need to obtain referrals to see me, many parents request a forum where they can exchange ideas regarding issues that impact their children. The radio is one such forum. You are welcome to write or call with issues that affect you and/or your children. I shall do my best to proffer answers.

As I pick my way through life, I feel the need to share some of the experiences I have garnered in the hope that it will make yours easier, provided you make the effort to apply them.
